The Toe Jam Spreader line up of tools are used for stretching for width, length, bunions, instep height, cuff diameter, and forward lean angle. All of the tools frames and dies are made of steel rather than aluminum. Because Southern Ski Tools uses steel, the TJS Line doesn't absorb heat as fast, which means that the ski boot won't have to be heated as much.

The heat that you apply doesn't get absorbed by the tool.
